Easy, Delicious And Always Tasty Cod Recipes

Cod Recipes: Battered, grilled, stewed, roasted, crumbled Both fresh and desalted, cod recipes fit perfectly in all kinds of easy-to-make and delicious dishes.

1. Battered Cod With Ratatouille

Flour the cod loins and fry them in a pan with plenty of oil. Please place it in a saucepan on a bed of Sanfaina or ratatouille previously cooked, add a splash of water and cook 5 minutes more.

If you do not want to complicate your life, you can accompany them directly after frying them with some roasted peppers or some canned piquillo well-drained.

2. Cod With Spinach

Combined with spinach and dried fruit, cod results in this delicious dish perfectly fit into light weight-loss dinners, super yummy (and easy to make), and meals.

3. Orange and Cod Salad

It is a version of the Andalusian Remojon, a delicious recipe of Arab origin. On a plate, distribute orange slices without the white skin and place onion rings of purple onion, black olives, and flakes of roasted cod desalted and crumbled.

Dress with a thread of oil, salt, and freshly ground pepper. And sprinkle chopped chives on top.

4. White Bean Salad With Cod

Take drained white beans from the pot and mix them with onion, tomato, green pepper, black olives, hard-boiled egg, and desalted and crumbled cod. It is one of the quick and easy recipes that you can make in less than 15 minutes.

Cod pairs wonderfully with any canned legumes, which are one of the healthy processed ones. You can make the same recipe with chickpeas, lentils.

5. Cod With Zucchini Spaghetti

Wash the cod and pat dry. Please put it on a tray smeared with oil, skin side down. Cover it with a mixture of chopped almonds and garlic, breadcrumbs, beaten egg and oil, and bake for 8 minutes at 180º.

Then gratin for a couple of minutes at 240º. And serve it with some zucchini spaghetti. Zucchini spaghetti can be sauteed or blanched for a couple of minutes in boiling water.

6. Cod With Vegetable en Papillote

The papillote technique allows you to preserve all the ingredients’ natural flavors and make simple preparations with the least possible fat.

And besides being light and very healthy, it is ultra-easy to do. You can also do it in the oven or the microwave if you don’t dare with the papillote.

7. Roasted Cod With Vegetables

It is as simple as roasting some fresh cod loins on a bed of previously fried vegetables. With 5 minutes of cooking, the cod is ready.

And to give it a special touch, add some black olives when you put the cod over the vegetables. It would also be super creamy with ratatouille or a Sanfaina that you already had made to save even more time.

8. Chickpeas With Cod and Spinach

You need cooked chickpeas, baby spinach, desalted cod, and quail eggs. Just mix the drained chickpeas with the washed spinach sprouts, a few strips of desalted cod, and a couple of cooked quail eggs per person. Easy, delicious, tasty, and full of energy.

9. Cod Gratin With Potatoes

Cut potato and tomato slices and onion feathers. Grease a refractory dish with oil and add the vegetables. Season and sprinkle with oil. Cook for 30 minutes in the oven preheated to 180º.

Wash the cod, dry it, and cover it with mayonnaise. Then sprinkle it with plenty of breadcrumbs. Arrange it over the vegetables and continue cooking 8 minutes more, with heat up and down until the crust is golden and crisp.

If you want it to be lighter, place the cod over the vegetables without mayonnaise or breadcrumbs.

10. Cod With Zucchini

Take a fresh or desalted cod loin, cook it on the grill or in the oven and accompany it with zucchini. To make the zucchini, wash it, and trim it with a mandolin’s help, cut it into fragile sheets.

Blanch them in boiling water for a few seconds, drain and let cool. To complete the dish, you can add some seasonal fruits and season everything with a vinaigrette.

11. Cod Toasts With Pepper Sauce

Bake, some cod loins about 10 minutes in the oven, preheated to 180º. While roasting, sauté diced bell peppers, squash, and half celery slices until tender.

On some toast, place the cod and the vegetables on top. Bake everything together for another 5 minutes. Garnish with a sprig of fried parsley.

12. Cod With Lentils

It is also vibrant with some lentils. Make a sauce of onion, carrot, and red pepper. When it’s done, add a can of drained lentils and skip it together for a few minutes. Take the cod loins, grill them, and serve over the lentils.

13. Cod Skeleton

Wash and dry some salad leaves. Mix them with desalted and crumbled cod, bell pepper slices, julienned onion, and chopped olives. Serve it over tomato slices. Dress with salt, freshly ground pepper, oil, a few drops of lemon, and serve.
