5 Signals Your Body Sends You When It Lacks Vitamins

Lacks Vitamins: Perhaps you think that your diet is balanced because you tend to “control” yourself with the portions. However, it is also essential that the menus are varied because, if not, you may lack vitamins that play a crucial role in health.

1. When You Wake Up, Do You Feel Tired?

If vitamins C and group B are lacking, the body makes an extra effort that can cause fatigue, and a certain listlessness and drowsiness can accompany that.

Unbalanced menus deficient in fruits, vegetables, and whole grains cause these signals.

If you think this may be the case for you, start introducing foods such as parsley, citrus fruits, and peppers into your diet (to get a supply of vitamin C) and meat, vegetables, and cereals (for the B vitamins).

2. Do You Notice That You Are Losing Hair?

If so, you may be suffering from a deficiency in vitamin B8 or biotin. The appearance of gray hair, reddened and flaky skin and brittle nails also warn of this and muscle pain.

To solve it, it is advisable to consume egg yolk, bluefish, brewer’s yeast, mushrooms, and nuts, the latter every two days in very moderate quantities.

3. When You Cut Yourself, Does It Cost You to Heal?

Aside from diabetes or hemophilia, a lack of vitamins C and K (which contribute to blood clotting) can cause this symptom.

Frequent bruising, swollen gums and a feeling of fatigue are other symptoms associated with a deficiency of these vitamins.

And it is that an unbalanced diet can affect vitamin C, which the body cannot store and reserve for times of shortage. Antibiotics can also cause vitamin K to be poorly absorbed.

Solve the problem by eating green leafy and cruciferous vegetables (cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower ) steamed or just slightly sauteed, since long cooking destroys vitamins.

4. Do You Often Get Infections?

This can occur due to a lack of vitamin A, making it easier for the mucous membranes, skin, and immune system to be healthy. A defect of this nutrient in our body can also cause the skin to dry out, and the nails are weak.

If you include foods such as egg yolks, dairy products, fish, meats, and orange, yellow or reddish vegetables in your diet, you will see how the problem improves.

One way to make sure you are getting lacks vitamins of all kinds is to combine fruits and vegetables of various colors on your plate.

5. Do You Get Mouth Sores Frequently?

Its appearance may be due to a deficiency of vitamin B, (better known as folic acid) and vitamin B12, responsible for forming red blood cells.

In addition to a diet with a low supply of these lacks vitamins, having an inflammatory bowel disorder causes problems absorbing vitamin B12.

Plan your dishes keeping in mind that folic acid is in legumes and green leafy vegetables and vitamin B12 in meat, fish, and eggs.

When choosing what you eat, you don’t just have to take into account calories. The variety also matters and a lot because without it.

It is easier for you to leave aside some nutrients that are basic and that, as a consequence, your health will wear out due to a low diet. Fortunately, your body always alerts you when problems and unwanted alterations appear.

6. How Do We Usually Fail to Eat?

According to a study published in the British Journal of Nutrition, the usual diet of Europeans is low in B vitamins, vitamin D, and folic acid.

These nutritional deficiencies can cause your body to respond with signals that you may not care about, such as losing hair or repeatedly suffering from infections.

The above signs are keys that can alert you that you suffer from a vitamin deficiency.
